WORKSHOP: Embedding Impact Within Your Business

WORKSHOP: Embedding Impact Within Your Business

If you’ve ever been to one of our events about profit for purpose and creating impact-driven businesses, and thought to yourself ‘Yes of course, but how?!’, then this is the workshop for you.

Over the past two years we’ve shared with you how many people in Byron Bay and beyond are creating positive impact through their businesses, now we want to teach you how to do it yourself. Whether you have a product-based or service-driven business, or are a solo freelancer, this half-day intensive workshop will take you through how to embed impact into everything you do.

You’ll learn:

  • How to identify and focus on your values —because what you care about, may be different to what others care about

  • How to map out your impact journey—what you can do tomorrow, and what you want to do next year and the year after

  • How to create positive impact in every component of your business—this isn’t about adding impact as an add-on to your core business, this is about making your core business your impact

At the end of the workshop, you’ll have a clear sense of how to use your business or freelance career as a powerful force for positive change.

Who you’ll be learning from
This workshop will be delivered by Nat Woods, one of the three founders of The Corner Palm.

Since saying adios to her policy development role in government, Nat has spent four years working in the impact space. Nat has worked in community campaigning roles for both GetUp! and WWF-Australia, and also spent two years working with the impact-driven investment portfolio, Small Giants. Alongside these roles, Nat has also been running Clean Coast Collective, a national not-for-profit she co-founded with her partner, Dan.

Passionate about impact-driven business, Nat will guide you through how to identify your path to impact.

“I was lucky enough to run through the Impact Workshop 1 on 1 with Nat, and she exceeded far beyond my expectations (I mean of course! She's a down right legend).

We went through every aspect of the business and worked out what achievable impacts we could implement into each area, with short term and some big long term goals nutted out. It made it all the more approachable and I didn't feel overwhelmed by the big impact visions I have for the business, as it's the little steps and the embedding of positive impact in everything we do on an everyday level.

I would absolutely recommend doing this workshop!”
